Discord Fonts Generator

Style your Discord nickname, About Me, status or channel names. Tap any style to copy, then paste it into Discord.

Limits: Instagram bio 150 characters, X (Twitter) display name 50. Fancy letters can count as two characters in some apps, so leave room.

These aren’t real fonts. Each style swaps your letters for look-alike Unicode symbols (mostly from the math and letterlike blocks), which is why it pastes anywhere text goes. The catch: screen readers may read styled text oddly, letter by letter, or skip it, and search inside apps often won’t match it, so people may not find you by typing your name. Keep your name, @handle and key information in plain text, and use styles for decoration.

Where styled text works in Discord

Display names, server nicknames, your About Me, custom status and channel names all accept Unicode, so these styles paste in. Your username (the unique @handle) is limited to plain lower-case letters, numbers, periods and underscores, so styled letters won't work there.

In messages, Discord already has real formatting that screen readers handle well: **bold**, *italic*, __underline__, ~~strikethrough~~ and backticks for monospace. Use that in chat and save these styles for names and headings.

Being findable

Friends mention you by typing your name after @. A nickname made entirely of styled letters is hard to type, so consider leaving a plain word in it. Some servers also set rules about readable nicknames.
